Many people take a picture of this portrait, because some say it follows you about the room.

 

Whereas sure, it could be something in the paint giving it an optical illusion, however, in May 2007 a docent took a picture of some guests.   A man appeared in the painting swathed in bandages, and he would show up between the shoulder and the wrist consistently. 

 

May of 2008 I was telling this story and letting them know what they would see and why.  However, it was no longer a man swathed in bandages, but this chubby cheeked man with a protruding chin. 

 

Now lately a female figure began appearing  as well in late July… but not always.
